Garden City, NY -
Manhattan defeated Hofstra 63-61 thanks to limiting a potent Pride offense to just 32.3 percent (20-of-62) from the floor, including a chilly 21.4 percent (3-of-14) from deep at the Center for Sport and Recreation on the campus of Adelphi University.

After senior Zane Waterman (Winston-Salem, NC / Fayetteville Academy) split a pair of free throws to give the Jaspers a two-point lead with 11 seconds remaining, sophomore Pauly Paulicap (Elmont, NY / Harcum College) denied Desure Buie's game-tying attempt with his career-high sixth block of the game. Hofstra was then doubled on the ensuing inbounds play before throwing the ball away to seal the Manhattan victory.
