Manhattan battled Canisius, dropping the first two sets by 25-21 counts before posting a thrilling 33-31 win in third set. However, the Golden Griffins rallied for a 25-23 victory in the fourth and final set to thwart the Jaspers' comeback bid. Freshman
Jade Jeffrey smashed a career-high 12 kills, on .417 hitting, to pace a Manhattan effort that registered a season-best 61 kills.
