Riverdale, NY -
Manhattan concluded the regular season with a 1-1 draw against Rider at Gaelic Park on Senior Day.

Prior to the match, the Jaspers honored their five-member senior class of Nicole Aylmer (Garnerville, NY / North Rockland), Dylan Burns (Manchester, CT / Manchester), Emily Center (Altamont, NY / Guilderland), Maria Clemente (Troy, NY / UMass Lowell), Erica Modena (Massapequa, NY / Massapequa).

After a scoreless first half, Manhattan broke through with the first score in the 65th minute. Junior Emma Saul (Orchard Park, NY / Orchard Park) had her shot blocked by a Rider defender and Modena picked up the ball in the front of the net and fired it past the keeper.

Rider continued to attack and finally broke through in the 85th minute when Michelle Iacono scored off a Shannon Kelly pass to tie it up at 2-2.

Manhattan, which went unbeaten at home during MAAC play (4-0-1) for the second time in three years, will be the No. 2 seed in the upcoming MAAC Championship and face the winner of No. 7 Fairfield and No. 10 Iona on Sunday, October 29 at 11:15 am.
