With the victory, the Hawks improve to 2-4-2 while the Jaspers fall to 0-7-1.

Unfortunately, that would be as close as the Jaspers would get the rest of the way as Monmouth was able to keep the visitors at bay thanks to owning the bulk of the possession over the final five minutes.

l Dorado Hills, CA / Oak Ridge) stopped an early penalty kick. Stripling would add his second goal of the match in the 29th minute, firing a shot into the upper right post.
The Hawks owned advantages on shots (17-7) and corner kicks (5-4).
Hayes made a career-high six saves in defeat while Eric Klenofsky had one save in earning the win.
Manhattan returns to action when it hosts Canisius on Saturday, October 1 at 7:00 pm.
