Hulme Paces Manhattan In Exhibition Against Monroe

Riverdale, NY - Playing in front of a home crowd for the first time all year, Manhattan dropped a 3-1 decision to Monroe College in exhibition action at Gaelic Park.

The Mustangs opened the scoring with single goals in the first two periods before junior Joe Hulme (Bolton, Lancashire, England / St. Joseph's Roman Catholic) found the back of the net on a penalty kick for the Jaspers in the third and final stanza to provide the final 3-1 score.

Manhattan will conclude the exhibition portion of its schedule on Sunday, August 21 at Bucknell with opening kick slated for 6:00 pm.
