After evading a threat in the bottom part of the frame, junior Jason Patnick (Hopewell, NJ / IMG Academy (FL)) stroked a one-out double before Anthony Rocchietti (Fr., Green Brook, NJ / Watchung Hills) and Chris Reynolds (Sr., Wall, NJ / St. Rose) each drew walks to load up the bases for Carrera, who followed suit with a walk of his own.
Santisteban finished up 2-for-5 with his second home run of the afternoon and the fifth of the year ot pace a nine-hit attack after going 3-for-5 with his 60th career double, three runs and three RBI in the opener.
Joey Rocchietti struck out six and allowed just one earned run over 6.0 innings before yielding to Kanwisher, who worked 2.0 innings of one-hit ball.
