Rider opened the scoring in the 25th minute when Caroline Healy found the back of the net off a centering pass from Maddie Lipton.

Arianna Montefusco (Levittown, NY / General Douglas MacArthur) was also felled by the crossbar in the 49th minute before Manhattan finally broke through in the 54th minute. Modena put the visitors on the board when she delivered a 25-yard laser past Bethany-May Howard to tie up the match at 1-1.
Over the next 10-plus minutes, Kourtney Cunningham would twice be denied by the crossbar and once by the post as the match would ultimately end in a 1-1 stalemate.
For Modena, it was her team-leading fourth goal of the year and the 23rd of her career.

Olivia Printy (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL / St. Joseph Academy) made five saves over 110 minutes in registering the tie.
