Manhattan Posts 95-91 Win Over Baruch

 - The Manhattan women's swimming and diving team defeated Baruch College 95-91.

The Jaspers were led by freshman Kathryn Voitik (Moscow, PA / Scranton), classmate Morgan Fountain (Cheshire, CT / Cheshire) and sophomore Audrey Corcoran (West Boylston, Mass. / West Boylston), all of whom were named Performers of the Meet.

Voitik won the 800-freestyle with a time of 9:55.28 as well as the 100-butterfly in 1:14.26 while also swimming a leg on the winning 200-freestyle relay in 1:59.88.

Fountain claimed the 100-freestyle with a mark of 1:05.50 and captured top honors in the 200-freestyle in 2:22.82.

Corcoran rounded out the aforementioned trio with a victory in the 200-individual medley, clocking a time of 2:39.60.

Sophomore Alexandra Hutzler (Miller Place, NY / Miller Place) also had a big day in the pool winning the 50-freestyle in 30.07.

Manhattan returns to action at Hunter College on Friday, Jan. 22, at 6:30 p.m.
