ALBANY, N.Y. - Manhattan (17-13) ended the first half on a 27-6 run while holding Marist (7-25) without a field goal over the final 13-plus minutes en route to posting a 74-58 victory in the Quarterfinal Round of the 2015 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Tournament.

From that point on both teams' fortunes would change drastically as the Jaspers ripped off 12-straight points en route to finishing the half on a 27-6 run in building a 38-22 lead at the break. During Manhattan's game-changing spurt the Jasper defenders held the Red Foxes without a field goal (0-for-13) in building an insurmountable 16-point halftime advantage.

Manhattan kept up its high-powered pace after halftime, upping the lead to as much as 18 points while never allowing Marist to get within single digits. The Jaspers also put the game away by making good on 14-of-15 from the line en route to shooting a season-high 92.9 percent (26-for-28) from the line.

Junior Shane Richards (New York, N.Y. / York Prep) scored 12 of his 18 points in the decisive first half and finished up 4-for-8 from the long range and a perfect 6-for-6 from the line. Joining Andujar and Richards in double-figures was junior Ashton Pankey (Bronx, N.Y. / Maryland), who finished up with 16 points to go along with nine rebounds.

Manhattan's big three of Andujar, Pankey and Richards combined for 58 points while shooting 56.7 percent (17-for-30) from the floor and a perfect 100.0 percent (20-for-20) from the line.
