SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Manhattan women's lacrosse team fell to 1-3 following a 17-2 defeat at the hands of Bryant at the Bryant Track and Turf Complex. The Bulldogs improved to 2-1.
Senior captain Megan Yarusso (Brewster, N.Y. / Brewster) and senior Donna Jo DiNorcia (Verona, N.J. / Verona) tallied the Manhattan goals on the afternoon.
Bryant junior attacker Lauren Descalzo notched a game-high seven goals and eight points in the contest.
Bulldogs' freshman goalkeeper Daja Andrews recorded 11 saves in the win.
The Jaspers return to action on Wednesday, March 4, when they host Sacred Heart for a 3 p.m. meeting at Gaelic Park.
