Rider responded with seven straight points before Manhattan pushed its lead back to 29-21 on a Shane Richards corner three at the eight-minute mark.

The Jaspers led 42-38 at halftime and outscored the Broncs 18-5 over the first four minutes of the second half to move ahead, 60-43. Rider was only able to cut Manhattan's lead to 13 points the rest of the way, when Jimmie Taylor scored on the break to make it 64-51 with 12:11 to go.

Michael Alvarado followed by burying a corner triple of his own. Beamon converted a three-point play to give Manhattan a 70-53 lead at the 9:31 mark and Rich Williams drained a three-pointer on the Jaspers' next possession to extend Manhattan's advantage to 20 points.
