WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Manhattan men's golf team began the spring portion of their 2012-2013 schedule in sunny Florida with a match against Northwood University at Ironhorse Country Club. All three of the Jaspers freshman impressed in the contest despite the team falling by a final of 411-398.
Michael Giannico led the way for Manhattan with a round of 77 while fellow rookie James Edgeworth followed with a seven- over 79. The Jaspers third freshman, Ross Ketner, finished with an 84 on Thursday.
Senior Matthew Creamer posted an 85 while Mike Schutsky finished with 86 on the par-72 course. Jonathan Feuer also participated in the event, shooting an 89 in the competition.
