Rene Guerra scattered five hits over five shutout innings, as Manhattan posted an 8-5 win at Wagner this afternoon at Willetts Field.
Matt Rizzotti and
Dom Lombardi went deep as the Jaspers improve to 14-12 on the season, while the Seahawks fall to 5-22.
Manhattan got on the board early and often, beginning with two runs in the second.
Rene Ruiz drove in the first with a RBI sacrifice fly before cousin
Mike Garcia drove home the second with a RBI single.
Three more Jasper runs crossed the plate in the third, as Lombardi led off the inning with a solo blast, his second on the year, and
Eric Nieto's RBI sacrifice fly brought home

Nunzio Franzese later scored on a Wagner error, one of five on the day for the Seahawks.
A Rizzotti homer in the fourth, his fourth longball of the season, made the score 6-0 Manhattan before Franzese tacked on two more with a double in the sixth.
Wagner scored twice in the seventh, and three more in the ninth to make things, bring the tying run to the plate before
Kyle Wirtz recorded a strikeout to end the game.
Nieto, Rizzotti, Lombardi, and Franzese all tallied multi-hit games for Manhattan.
The Jaspers get back in action with a MAAC series this holiday weekend with Fairfield. The teams will play a doubleheader at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday, beginning at noon, before taking a day off and finishing up the series with a single game on Monday.
