Alicia Psillos and
Molly Pheterson each tallied four goals as Manhattan posted a 13-6 win over Sacred Heart this afternoon at Campus Field.
Psillos and Pheterson tallied the first two goals of the game, and, following a Sacred Heart tally,
Brenna Tinari scored two goals of her own as the Lady Jaspers took a 4-1 lead into the break.
Psillos and Pheterson were up to their old tricks to open up the second half, scoring the first two goals. Once again, the Pioneers answered with a goal of their own, before Manhattan scored the next two, this time with the order being Pheterson then Psillos.
After two more Sacred Heart goals made the score 8-2, Psillos scored her fourth of the game.
The Lady Jaspers closed out the game by scoring four of the game's final six tallies, with the goals coming from
Jillian McGowan, Pheterson,
Kate Basler, and
Erin Warren.
Ashley Devins stopped eight shots for her second win of the season.
