Jamaica, NY (May 10, 2004)-Michanne Campbell broke the school record in the Triple Jump jumping 12.23m for first place at the 2004 St. John's Collegiate Classic in Jamaica, NY held this past weekend. This was the first time a Manhattan woman has ever jumped over 40 feet. Campbell broke the old school record by .15m.
Karin Larsson also competed well this weekend placing first in the Shot Put throwing 12.67m and the Pole Vault at 9'6".
On the men's side
Matt Reilly finished fifth in the 800m running in a time of 1:52.00.
The Jaspers compete on Friday, May 14 at the IC4A/ECAC at Yale University in New Haven, CT.
