Rajne Svenssohn completed the Heptathlon today at the NCAA Championships held in Fayetteville, AZ. After the first day of competition Svenssohn was in 14th place with 2882 points after he competed in the 60m (7.46), Long Jump (6.76m), Shot Put (13.19m), and the High Jump (1.93m). On the second day of competition, Svenssohn snuck up to 10th place after breaking three of his own personal records in all three events he competed in today.
The first event he competed in was the 60m Hurdles finishing in a time of 8.45 seconds. Next he competed in the Pole Vault vaulting 4.40m and then he ran in the 1000m crossing the finish line in 2:39.00 earning a total of 5370 points in the Heptathlon for a 10th place finish.
The Jaspers compete again on Tuesday, March 17 at the Scottsdale Multi's in Scottsdale, AZ starting at 11am.
