Callan Stores is in her seventh year at Manhattan College, serving as an assistant coach for four years and as director of women's basketball operations during her first season on staff.

Stores continued to mentor Warley throughout her time with the Green and White. Under the guidance of Stores, Warley developed into one of the most accomplished players in the program's history. Warley is the only player in program history be an all-league performer five times while earning  Second Team All-Met honors twice in her career. Stores was the driving force behind Warley cementing her place in the programs record books. Warley finished her career 10th in points (1295), first in offensive rebounds (419) and second in total rebounds (1206) among many other records to her name.

Stores currently focuses on the development of the team's post players, after working with the perimeter guards for two years. In 2019-20, she mentored center Courtney Warley to All-MAAC First Team, All-Met Second Team and All-ECAC Second Team recognition. The previous season, Taylor helped Dee Dee Davis to a unanimous MAAC All-Rookie Team selection after the freshman guard led the Jaspers with 8.9 points per game during the 2018-19 campaign, and saw Sydney Watkins hit a team-high 44 threes for the season (eighth in the MAAC), shooting 31.7 percent from long range and ranking 14th in the MAAC for three-point field goal percentage.

Stores also serves as the program's international recruiting coordinator and alumni liaison, in addition to responsibilities for team equipment and gear.

A former Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Year at Sacred Heart, she spent four seasons playing professionally overseas. Sacred Heart’s all-time leading rebounder (1,123), Stores also ranks second on the Pioneers’ career scoring list (1,822). She was named NEC Player of the Year in 2011-12 after averaging 16.3 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. She also earned a place on the ECAC Division I All-Star Second Team that season.

Stores played on two NEC championship squads (2009, 2012), and was named to the All-Tournament Team after both victories. She had a 24-point, seven-rebound performance against Ohio State in the 2009 NCAA Tournament. She was also the 2011-12 NEC Female Student-Athlete of the Year and a 2010-11 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Second Team selection.

In 2012-13, Stores began her professional career with Turun Riento in Finland. She led the team in scoring and rebounding that season, as the squad made its first-ever playoff appearance. Taylor then spent two seasons playing for Club Baloncesto Al-Qazeres in Spain, helping the team become league co-champions and reach the “Fase Final.” She earned a place on the league’s All-Star Five after pacing the club in scoring and rebounding.

Stores then moved on to the Woodville District Basketball Club in Australia, earning league co-MVP honors after pacing the circuit in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage. She also received the Halls Medal Award, which goes to the league’s best player as voted by the officials. Taylor spent the 2015-16 season playing for Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Portugal, where she was selected as the unanimous league MVP after leading the team in scoring and rebounding.
