Stephen Elmore

Stephen Elmore is in his third year with the Manhattan men's basketball team as the director of basketball operations.

In his first season, Elmore helped the Jaspers to their second-straight MAAC Championship.

Elmore ascended on Riverdale after serving as a graduate assistant at The Citadel. With the Bulldogs, he was responsible for player development while assisting with film and the program's recruiting efforts. Additionally, he developed and implemented alumni outreach efforts, working closely with the athletic department's boosters and administrators.

Prior to starting his coaching career, Elmore worked for Missy Farren & Associates in New York City and the Charleston RiverDogs, a minor league affiliate of the New York Yankees in the South Atlantic League.

At Princeton, he was a four-year member of the Tigers' Baseball team and played one season with The Citadel Basketball squad in 2012-2013 as a graduate senior.

A native of New York City, Elmore earned his bachelor’s degree in history at Princeton University and his master’s degree in sports management at The Citadel after graduating from nearby Horace Mann High School.
