LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (Apr. 16, 2025) – A total of 48 student-athletes were named to the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Golf All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Sacred Heart University led all MAAC institutions with a league-high 10 All-Academic Team selections. Canisius University and Iona University followed with six athletes each on the team, while Merrimack College and Siena College were right behind with five selections named to the squad. Mount St. Mary's University was next with four honorees, followed by the trio of Fairfield University, Manhattan University, and Saint Peter's University with three choices apiece. Niagara University (2) and Rider University (1) rounded out the All-Academic Team.

The 2025 MAAC Men's & Women's Golf Championships return to Disney's Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 17-29. The 2025 championships will mark the 14th consecutive season the championships are hosted at Disney's Golf Course dating back to 2011, and the 23rd overall time since 2000.
