ANNAPOLIS, MD — Day One at the ECAC Open Championships at Lejeune Hall saw four Manhattan relays—two for the women and two for the men—qualify to the finals along with junior Jaila Williamson in the 50 Yard Free.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Williamson advanced to the final in the 50 Yard Free with a time of 24.16 seconds, good for a tie for ninth place in the prelims. The Amityville, NY native placed 15th in the finals.

The Women 400 Yard Medley Relay saw the Jaspers relay of Elle Feneide, Leticia Fontes, Sophia Leber and Jaila Williamson secured eighth place in the prelims.

The Women 200 Yard Freestyle Relay consisted of the same swimmers for Manhattan and earned a 10th place finish in the prelims.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

The Men 400 Yard Medley Relay secured eighth place in prelims which featured the quartet of Abelardo Cartagena, Joe Brennan, Gavin Harding and Jonathan Carsen.

The Jaspers also advanced out of the prelims in the Men 200 Yard Freestyle Relay by taking 11th place. The Manhattan relay consisted of Brennan, Carsen, Tristan Ehrhardt and Mark Haynes.
