NEW YORK, NY — A string of individual standout performances powered the Manhattan men's track & field team to a 4th place finish at the MAAC Championships. Day 2 saw Paul Brennan finish 3rd (15.21m) in the shot put and Theodore Lodge earned Field Rookie of the Meet for his runner-up performance in the Men's Triple Jump with a score of 14.24m.

Brennan's successful outing in the shot put followed his first-place showing in Men's Weight Throw yesterday.

Lodge's MAAC Championships debut gave rise to a new PR for freshman in the Men's Triple Jump. Lodge finished runner-up to Caleb Nelson of Mount St. Mary's.

Darion Lopez made more waves on the track just one day after setting the school record in the 200m. The Pensacola, Florida native broke his own record again, upping the program standard from 21.61 seconds to 21.60 on his way to earning 4th place.

Lopez took home 5th place (6.91 seconds) in the Men's 60m.

Freshman Jayce Ward wrapped up his debut at the MAAC Championships with 7th-place honors in the Men's Triple Jump.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Junior Mikayla Dorvil placed 11th in the Women's Triple Jump with a score of 11.09m.

Sophomore Bekah Bouton and senior Alexandra Caraher took 12th and 15th respectively in the Women's Shot Put.

Caraher had a busy weekend highlighted by winning the Women's Weight Throw on Saturday

Senior Kylie Conroy represented the long-distance runners by garnering 18th place in the Women's 3000m race.
