QUOTES FROM THE JASPERS

Head Coach Heather Vulin on performance: "Obviously a tough MAAC battle. We're down a little bit in terms of numbers. I also think fatigue was a factor going into the fourth quarter. We have to give credit to Mount St. Mary's. They are playing great basketball right now. Credit to Tegan (Young). She really battled and shot the ball well today."

Vulin continued: "We've got to make sure we're tougher and handle the ball better. We also need to be tougher against the press. We've got to make sure that we value rebounds. We gave way too many, leading to second-chance points, and I feel that was the difference today."

Manhattan embarks on an 11-mile journey to nearby New Rochelle on Thursday, January 30, to face a familiar MAAC opponent: the Gaels of Iona University. The contest will tip off at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
