RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan baseball team will travel to Marist for a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) road trip beginning on Friday at McCann Baseball Field in Poughkeepsie.
 
Game 1: Friday, April 19, 3 p.m.
Game 2: Saturday, April 20, 1 p.m.
Game 3: Sunday, April  21, 12 p.m.
 
The Preview
Manhattan (11-23) will play on the road at Marist after a 6-2 victory over FDU in a midweek contest. The win was Manhattan's first-midweek win of the season. The Jaspers are tied for seventh in the MAAC with a 4-8 conference mark. Daniel Perez leads Manhattan with a .322 batting average, 37 hits, 24 runs, and .452 on-base percentage. Vincent Davis has a team-high six home runs to lead the Jaspers. 
 
The History
The all-time series between Manhattan and Marist has the Jaspers leading 27-23. Manhattan is on a two-game win streak over the Red Foxes. The Jaspers trail 14-8 against Marist on the road. Last time out, Manhattan played Marist on April 23, 2023, with a 10-6 victory, where they won the series 2-1.
 
The Opponent
Marist enters the weekend with a 12-23 overall record and a 5-7 MAAC record to sit in fifth place. In a midweek contest, they lost their last game, 8-6 versus Hofstra. Ethan Conrad leads Marist with a batting average of .382 to go along with 52 hits, 29 runs, and 36 RBIs. Tyler Hartley has an ERA of 11.68 leading the Red Foxes in innings pitched with 34.2 with a 2-5 record. He has 31 strikeouts and one save on the season.
