OLD BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Manhattan golf team finished seventh at the 2022 Shark Invitational, including a pair of top 30 finishers.
 
Jimmy Escoto finished T23 at 224 (+11), and Sam Taraian was T28 at 229 (+16). Escoto shot a final round 79 (+8), including birdies on eight and 10. Taraian carded an 82 (+11) on Tuesday.
 
Two shots behind Taraian was Colby Norton at 231 (+18). Norton took 40 on the front and back nines for a nine-over 80 over the final 18 holes in round three. Lincoln Haymaker was fourth on the Jaspers in a share of 38^th, two more strokes behind Norton. Haymaker shot the best round for Manhattan in round three with a 73 (+2).
 
Tyler Nguyen finished in T50 with a 237 (+24) to round out the order for the Jaspers.
 
Up next for the Jaspers is the 2022 MAAC Championships in Orlando, Fla., at the Disney Magnolia Golf Course from April 21-23.
