Hackensack, NJ - Manhattan fell to FDU by scores of 25-10, 25-16 and 25-18 in the season opener for both teams at the Rothman Center on day one of the FDU Tournament.

* Junior Lizzi Brown paced Manhattan with six kills, on .250 hitting, with graduate student Erin Hoener notching five kills, and senior Julia Menocal and sophomore Bianca Vieira each registering four.

* Senior Abby Wilde had a team-best 15 assists, while classmate Erin Prevo recorded two aces.

* Manhattan hit at a .058 clip, with FDU posting a .333 mark.

* The Jaspers will next face Robert Morris on Saturday, August 28 at 10:00 am, before squaring off with Maryland Eastern Shore at 3:00 pm.
