Lawrenceville, NJ -
Rider defeated Manhattan 3-1 in MAAC action at Ben Cohen Field.

The Broncs improve to 2-1-2, while the Jaspers fall to 3-2-0.

Rider opened the scoring with a goal in the first half, before adding to its advantage with two more in the second half, before the Green & White got on the board.

Senior Lindsey Healy (Vernon, NJ / Pope John XXIII Regional) trimmed the deficit to 3-1 with her second goal of the year off a feed from junior Bri Floyd (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central).

Unfortunately, that would be as close as Manhattan would get.

Junior Kim Mains (Harriman, NY / Immaculate Heart Academy (NJ)) made six saves in goal.

Rider held slim advantages in shots (15-13), shots on goal (9-7) and corner kicks (8-6).

The Jaspers will next play at Iona on Tuesday, April 6, with opening kick tabbed for 1:00 pm.
