Riverdale, NY - Manhattan celebrated Senior Night with a rousing 4-2 win over Canisius at Gaelic Park.

* The Jaspers are now 2-2-0, while the Golden Griffins are 0-5-0, including 0-4-0 during MAAC play.

* Senior Brandon Joseph-Buadi (Brighton, England / Woodard) led the way with a pair of goals, while senior Moritz Riegel (Hannover, Germany / Leibniz Universität Hannover)) and freshman Olsen Aluc (Lake Grove, NY / Connetquot) also found the back of the net.

* Joseph-Buadi opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a strike off a feed from senior Oswald Annang (Accra Kokomle, Ghana / Peekskill (NY)).

* Riegel pushed the advantage out to 2-0 in the 28th minute when he converted a penalty kick.

* Junior Lucas Cyriacus (Munich, Germany / Pitt) then found Joseph-Buadi in the 52nd minute for the third Jasper score.

* Aluc scored his first collegiate goal just over two minutes later in giving the Green & White an insurmountable 4-0 advantage.

* Canisius would score two late goals off the foot of Jo Preci to provide the final 4-2 count.

* Freshman Danny DiMarco (Sparta, NJ / Sparta) made two saves while not yielding a goal in improving to 2-2.

* Annang, Desmond Cole (Aurora, CO / Cherokee Trail), Joseph-Buadi and Riegel all were recognized in the pregame Senior Night ceremony.

* Manhattan will next be in action at Fairfield on Monday, April 5 at 12:00 pm.
