Playing in snowy conditions, Manhattan dropped a hard-fought 2-0 decision to Niagara at Niagara Field.

* In defeat, the Jaspers fall to 1-2-0 and 1-2-0 in the MAAC while the Purple Eagles improve to 3-1 and 2-1 in the league.

* Senior Brandon Joseph-Buadi (Brighton, England / Woodard) had a team-best four shots, while classmate Moritz Riegel (Hannover, Germany / Leibniz Universität Hannover) and freshman Olsen Aluc (Lake Grove, NY / Connetquot) also had three shots with the trio combining for all four Green & White shot that went on goal.

* Reigning MAAC Defensive Player of the Week freshman Danny DiMarco (Sparta, NJ / Sparta) made five saves.

* Niagara owned advantages in shots (18-13) and shots on goal (7-4), with each team registering two corner kicks.

* Rodrigo Almeida and Ali Alomari each found the back of the net to lead the way for the Purple Eagles.

* Manhattan will next be in action against Canisius on Saturday, April 3 with opening kick at Gaelic Park tabbed for 5:00 pm.
