Riverdale, NY - Manhattan dropped a pair of decisions to Rider at Draddy Gymnasium.

The Broncs improve to 4-4 while the Jaspers fall to 2-6.

Match Two
Manhattan battled in the second match before falling by scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-23 and 25-17.

The Jaspers posted a .181 hitting percentage, highlighted by registering a .214 clip in a victorious second set.

Freshman Bianca Vieira (Land O' Lakes, FL / Land O' Lakes) had a team-high 10 kills, on .286 hitting, while seniors Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word) and Meagan Miller (Oakville, Ontario / Oakville Trafalgar) each had eight kills and five blocks.

Senior Kai Riner (Kennesaw, GA / Georgia Southern) paced the defense 11 digs, while senior Reyn Hoffman (Ventura, CA / Ventura) had eight.

Freshman Camryn Paulson (Whitehouse Station, NJ / Hunterdon Central) handed out 22 assists to round out the top statistical performers.

Match One
Manhattan dropped the opener by scores of 25-11, 25-21 and 25-17.

Sophomore Kelly Markowski (Winter Park, FL / Lake Highland Preparatory School) had six kills, with Hoener also adding six kills and five blocks.

Junior Abby Wilde (Parkesberg, PA / Octorora) had a team-best 13 assists, while senior Kai Riner (Kennesaw, GA / Georgia Southern) notched a team-leading nine digs with Hoffman adding eight.
