* The Jaspers won their first match of the year by scores of 14-25, 27-25, 25-18 and 25-15.
* Junior Kelly Markowski notched her first career double-double with a personal-best matching 13 kills, on .146 hitting, with a career-high 17 digs.
* Senior Erin Hoener registered a team-best 14 kills, on .290 hitting.
* Senior Erin Prevo recorded a personal-best 14 digs, while sophomore Ashley Chan also had 14 digs.
* Manhattan registered a season-high 10 aces, after rapping out just 12 in its first seven matches.
* The Jaspers also notched a season-best 51 kills, on a season-high .156 hitting.
* Manhattan is now 1-7 and 1-3 in the MAAC, while Niagara is 6-8 and 3-2 in the league.
