New Britain, CT - CCSU broke open a close game with seven runs in the fourth, en route to posting a 13-2 victory over the Jaspers in non-conference action.

Junior Matt Padre (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) and sophomore Nick Cimillo (Airmont, NY / Suffern) each had three hits to lead the way for the Green & White.

Blake Dewaine was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI to highlight a 16-hit Blue Devil attack.

Manhattan is now 3-10, while CCSU improves to 4-8.

Junior RHP Teddy Sabato (Rye Brook, NY / UNC) struck out two over 3.0 scoreless innings of two-hit ball to pace the pitchers.

The Jaspers will return to action against Sacred Heart on Wednesday, March 11 at 4:00 pm.
