Game 1: Stony Brook 8, Manhattan 3
- After falling behind 2-0 early to the Seawolves, Emma Kindblom (Wilbraham, MA / Wilbraham & Monson) hit her first career home run in the top of the second, picking up two runs and tying the game.
- Stony Brook broke the game open in the third, scoring three runs on four hits to make it 5-2 Seawolves.
- Three innings later, the Jaspers' scored their third run on a stolen base attempt by Megan Gillooley (Clifton Park, NY / Shenendehowa). As the throw from the catcher went into the outfield, Daniela Chiorazzi (Stony Point, NY / North Rockland), snuck home from third to make it 5-3. It was Gillooley's 18th stolen base of the season, a team-high.
- The Seawolves tacked on three more runs in the sixth, creating a 8-3 gap for the Jaspers.
- Kindblom's two RBI proved to be a team-high for the first game, while Kat Prevo (San Diego, CA / Our Lady of Peace) totaled a team-best three hits, including a double.
- Nicole Williams (Ansonia, CT / St. Joseph's) pitched her first complete game of the season for Manhattan, facing 33 batters in 28 at bats and letting up 10 hits.
- While compiling five hits in game two, the Jaspers were unable to convert the offense to runs, resulting in just their fifth shutout of the year.
- Christine Gebhardt (Middletown, NJ / Middletown North) finished game two with a team-high two hits, totaling four hits for the day.
- Starting pitcher Kayla McDermott (Garnerville, NY / North Rockland) went 4.2 innings for Manhattan, giving up six runs on eight hits. The loss brings her season record to 9-12.
- Relief pitcher Jessie Rising (Little Egg Harbor, NJ / Pinelands) came in for 1.1 innings striking out three of five batters faced and giving up no hits.
Manhattan will host Siena at Gaelic Park on Saturday, May 4, starting at 11:00 am. It will be the final regular season doubleheader for the Jaspers, as well as the program's Senior Day.
