Highlights:
- Courtney Warley (West Chester, PA / Bishop Shanahan) filled in the entire stat line against the Saints, with game-highs in points (16), rebounds (nine), blocks (four) and steals (six, a career-high). After scoring four in the first half, Warley went on a tear in the third quarter, notching eight of the Jaspers 13 points in the period and helping Manhattan subtract its deficit to eight (43-35) going into the final 10 minutes.
- Freshman D'yona Davis (Bronx, NY / Truman) earned 12 points for Manhattan in the game, her fourth double-figure scoring game in a row. Davis had seven-straight points in the fourth quarter to give the Jaspers a 46-45 lead at just under the four-minute mark. She totaled three assists and three steals on the day.
- Lynette Taitt (Irvington, NJ / Bishop Loughlin) was the Jaspers' third double-figure scorer on Sunday, finishing with 11 points and earning her third-straight double-figure scoring game; she is averaging 13.7 points over the last three games. Against the Saints, Taitt added seven boards and five steals, a new career-high. She also went 5-8 from the free throw line, going 3-4 over the final minute to help Manhattan secure the W.
- Down 16-13 after the opening 10 minutes, the Jaspers faltered in the second quarter, allowing nine-straight Siena points that put the Js down 25-13 under the seven-minute mark. Manhattan finished the quarter with a 9-5 advantage, but still went into the locker room at the half down 30-22.
- Warley's eight third-quarter points kept the Jaspers in the contest, finding themselves still down eight going into the final 10 minutes. Manhattan also combined for six steals in the quarter as the Saints shot 55.6 percent from the floor.
- The Jaspers scored the first seven points of the fourth quarter, cutting Siena's lead to one with 6:48 to play. The Saints' Deja Rawls hit a layup next, before Davis hit two baskets to give the Jaspers a 46-45 lead.
- Tied with a minute to go, Siena gave Taitt four attempts at the line over the next 30 seconds. She made three, before Warley went to the line with :24 to play and sank two more. Siena would score one more time, but it would prove too little to late as the Jaspers held on for the four-point win.
- Siena shot just 20 percent in the fourth quarter, as Manhattan upped its defensive pressure. The Japers combined for six steals in the final period, including three from Warley, who added three blocks in the quarter, as well. Manhattan shot nearly 42 percent in the fourth and went 6-8 from the free throw line.
- The Jaspers held a 30-20 advantage in the paint for the game, and led 15-7 for second-chance points, out-rebounding Siena 16-9 on the offensive glass.
- Manhattan combined for 16 steals, the team's second-best steal performance of the season.
