Smithfield, RI - Bryant defeated Manahttan 3-0 in the Jaspers first match of the Hampton Inn-Vitational at the Chase Athletic Center.

The Bulldogs bested Manhattan by scores of 25-23, 25-5 and 25-13 in moving to 3-6 while the visitors fall to 0-8.

Sophomore Taylor Hasley (Memphis, TN / St. Agnes Academy) notched a double-double with 17 assists and 10 digs while junior Sandra Lozanova (Pernik, Bulgaria / Fresno State) paced the Jaspers with five kills and two aces. Junior Alyssa Rehrer (Lorton, VA / South County) also notched double-figures with 14 digs.

Inside The Numbers
- Manhattan hit an impressive .281 in the first set, highlighted by four Lozanova kills on .286 hitting, while freshman Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word) had three kills on .400 hitting. Hasley rounded out the top performers with 10 assists.

- Bryant, which was led by 13 kills from Julia Flynn, improve to 3-0, all-time, against the Jaspers.
