Manhattan (2-9; 0-2 MAAC) returns to action at Canisius (2-4; 1-2 MAAC) on Saturday, April 9 at 3:00 pm in a game that will be streamed live through ESPN3.

The Jaspers posted a dominating 14-5 win over NJIT en route to concluding non-conference play on a high note.


Giarratana Named MAAC Rookie Of The Week ... Again
Freshman Parker Giarratana earned his third MAAC Rookie of the Week citation after scoring a career-high matching five goals at NJIT. The Sunshine State native is tied for second in the league with 20 goals and fourth with 10 assists.


Zingaro Dominates On Both Ends
Sophomore Michael Zingaro posted a career-high 21 saves in the win over NJIT while also scoring his first career goal after leaving the crease. For his efforts, Zingaro was named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week. He continues to lead the nation with 13.55 saves per game.


Did You Know?
Zingaro's 21 saves are the most since Rich Akapnitis recorded 21 stops in a 9-7 loss to Robert Morris on February 26, 2011.

Game-Winning Darby
Conor Darby has scored the game-winning goal in both Manhattan victories this season. The Assumption transfer has nine goals and an assist in six games.

Merrill Leads The Way
Sophomore Frank Merrill is tied for the MAAC lead with 32 ground balls. 

With A Win ...
The Jaspers would post their first-ever victory at Canisius while snapping a nine-game losing streak to their Buffalo-based rival. The Golden Griffins lead the all-time series by a 17-4 margin.
