Staten Island, NY - The Manhattan men's lacrosse team returns to action at Wagner on Friday, February 12 at 3:00 pm.
Last week at Bryant, freshman Parker Giarratana (Delray, FL / Boca Raton Community) began his Jasper career with a bang, notching his first collegiate goal and assist. Junior Matt Garvey (Essex Falls, NJ / West Essex) and sophomore Conor Darby (Havermill, MA / Assumption) also found the back of the net for Manhattan, which played the first game of the Drew Kelleher era against four-time defending NEC Champion Bulldogs.
In defeat, sophomore Michael Zingaro (Cortland Manor, NY / Walter Panas) was extremely impressive with a career-high 17 saves. The 17 stops are also the most by a Manhattan goalie since Rich Akapnitis made 19 in a 14-8 loss to No. 10 Princeton on February 25, 2014.
