Leading the way for the women's team was Kali Nembach (Lynbrook, NY), who had three first-place finishes. Individually, she swam the 50 yard freestyle in 25.84 seconds to earn the win, and she followed that up with a victory in the 100 yard freestyle (57.13). “The women performed well, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back,” Murtha said. “It was a very impressive day for the team. They registered the fastest time in every event, while also showcasing the depth of this program in a number of events.”
Next Saturday, the Jaspers return to the Ethical & Cultural Fieldston School for a 1 p.m. matchup with Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) rival Saint Peter's.
