The Lady Jaspers, now 4-2 on the season, also got two goals each from freshman Chrissy Gutenberger, freshman Elizabeth Dugan and sophomore Phelicia VanOverbeke. Kerrisk, Hickey and Spatarella added one goal each. VanOverbeke had two assists and Kerrisk added one. VanOverbeke also scooped up four ground balls on the evening.
Robert Morris was paced by Jillian Howley who tallied five goals and Jenn Collins who had a four-goal contest.
The two teams traded goals in the first few minutes of the match, but a four goal run within a two-minute span between the 18:38 and 16:41 mark of the first half opened up a 7-2 lead for the Colonials. The rest of the first half then went back and forth, with Robert Morris entering halftime with a 9-5.
The Jaspers struck first within the first 90 seconds of the second half on a goal by VanOverbeke, but then Robert Morris scored three in the next four minutes to open up a 12-6 lead that the Lady Jaspers could not overcome during the rest of the match, despite a three goal run between the 14 and 12 minute mark.
