In the 61st minute, the Jaspers missed their best opportunity to score with the match still in limbo. James Gannon, a junior midfielder, tracked down a loose ball in the middle of the box, and used a bicycle kick to send a shot just high of the crossbar.
Five minutes later, Figueiredo put the game out of reach when he placed a shot into the right corner of the net. The score gave him a hat trick for the match and marked his sixth goal of the season.
