LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. ? Rider guard Harris Mansell scored 14 second half points helping the Broncs escape with a 76-73 win over Manhattan (4-3, 1-1 MAAC) this afternoon at Alumni Gymnasium. The Jaspers kept it to a single digit disadvantage the rest of the way and cut the lead to 74-73 on Pearson's fifth 3-pointer of the game with seven seconds remaining. He finished with 19 points, a season-high.
Broncs' guard Lamar Johnson sank two more free-throws which were enough to hold off the Jaspers. Johnson recorded 16 points.
Broncs' big man Mike Ringgold scored 20 points on 9-for-13 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds.
